Sharon Fields Project Receives Multiple Recognitions

The Sharon Fields project in Alleghany County, near Clifton Forge, Virginia, designed and constructed by the 2014-2015 design/buildLAB,* was selected as one of five finalists for the Architizer A+ Popular Choice Award in the category “Architecture + Community.” In addition, the Sharon Fields project received a Design Citation from the Blue Ridge Chapter of the AIA in their 2016 Design + Honor Awards program. The project has also received a 2017 Excellence in Hot-Dip Galvanizing Award in the Civic Contribution category from the American Galvanizers Association; AZZ Galvanizing in Bristol, VA was a sponsor for the project.
