Drew Hulva, a graduate student in the Master of Science in Architecture program and graduate assistant to Prof. Michael Ermann, was awarded the inaugural Leo and Gabriella Beranek Scholarship in Architectural Acoustics and Noise Control. The $30,000 scholarship, administered through the Acoustical Society of America, was established by Leo Beranek, who just celebrated his 100th birthday, by far the most important single person in the history of architectural acoustics.
