The portmanteau exhibit Camouflage: Architectural Origins Everywhere and Nowhere by Assistant Professor of Architecture Edward Becker has begun touring through the United States as part of the Milwaukee Art Museum’s PLAY exhibition. Camouflage, which features residential designs from Prof. Becker’s architectural practice VÖR, was on show at the Milwaukee Art Museum’s Schroeder Galleria from Oct. 11, 2018 to Nov. 4, 2018. The exhibit is currently on show at the University of Colorado - Denver before stopping in Las Vegas, Nevada and Columbus, Ohio. Additional locations will be announced as the exhibit progresses. The portmanteau exhibition PLAY is based upon Diller + Scofidio’s 1991 Tourisms: Suitcase Studies installation at the Walker Art Center and was organized by both the MAM and the ACSA. The designs by Prof. Becker and his practice VÖR are featured alongside work by other emerging young practices such as Outpost Office (Baggage), Henry Architecture (Hedges of the World: Folio Edition), and PROXIIMA (GLEEcerin: Notational Models), among others.
