A team composed of Virginia Tech Landscape Architecture faculty member Laurel McSherry, alumni Rob Holmes (MLA 2008) and David Bayer (MLA 2015), and Fritz Steiner, the dean designate of the School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania and former dean of the School of Architecture at The University of Texas at Austin, has been awarded third place in the international Arch Out Loud NYC Aquarium & Public Waterfront Competition. The jury selected three prize winners from 178 proposals by 565 participants from 40 countries.
