San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful colonial town, declared a National Treasure by Mexico in 1926 and designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2008. In addition, “Conde Nast Traveler” magazine voted San Miguel de Allende the number one city in Mexico and the 7th best city in the world as a travel destination. Below is a 12 minute video entitled “El Corazon de Mexico” (The Heart of Mexico) about San Miguel de Allende. This video gives an excellent overview of this extraordinary town, highlighting its historic architecture and diverse culture.
