2024 IAWA Symposium: "1x1 Argentina" Exhibition

This week, the 2024 IAWA Symposium included the exhibit “1x1 Argentina” in the Lobby. The exhibit showcased a collection of bi-dimensional original work crafted by Argentine women in architecture responding to the global call of “1x1”. Building on the successful pilot of the “1x1 initiative” —“1x1 Colombia”— “1x1 Argentina” was organized by the network soyarquitecta.net, with the support of the Consejo Profesional de Arquitectura y Urbanismo - CPAU. Gathering over 100 artifacts, representing 12 provinces of the country and the federal district, the exhibit presented a sample of the full collection, including the text handwritten by each woman explaining the relevance of the artifact each had chosen to donate to this unique collection.
