Students have hit the ground running at the CDR Payette OpenLab Boston studio! At Payette, the fourteen fourth-year students will take integrative studio, fabrication, professional practice and be ingrained in office culture.

This year’s prompt is set in Boston’s historic North End. The sites are quirky residual gaps in the well-established urban fabric of the North End that have been formed over time. The studio will study topics of urban infills, sliver buildings, and explore the narrative of site and place.
