At the school of Architecture, we believe that every passionate and talented student should have the opportunity to explore the world, from studio travel to immersive fourth-year programs. The School of Architecture Annual Scholarship Fund helps students participate in these invaluable travel opportunities, ensuring they gain the exposure and insight necessary for their education and professional development.

Access to the right technology is essential for student success. At the School of Architecture, we believe that every student with passion and talent deserves the tools to succeed. Yet, for some, the cost of essential technology- computers, software, and printing- creates a barrier to their education and future careers.

The School of Architecture Annual Technology Support Fund helps students with demonstrated financial need afford critical tools, including computers, software and printing services necessary for their education and career preparation.

Giving day is the perfect time to support the next generation of architects. Last year the FAB Scholarship helped 11 students with awards ranging from $500 to $1500 making a real impact on their fourth-year studies at the WAAC. This year we aim to do even more-our goal is to provide a minimum award of $1000 to each recipient.

We also encourage graduate students to apply, especially for those looking to join us for their thesis year.

Your support can make these opportunities possible. Give today and help students take the next step in their architectural education at the WAAC.

The International Archive of Women in Architecture {IAWA) documents and preserves the vital contributions of women to the built environment, ensuring a more complete and inclusive architectural history. Established in 1985 as a joint program of the College of Architecture, Arts, and Design and the University Libraries at Virginia Tech, the Archive serves as a resource for students, educators, researchers, and historians worldwide.

The IAWA Annual Fund supports this mission by promoting the archive and its mission of collecting, preserving, and providing access to the records of women architects, landscape architects, designers, historians, and planners.
