Nordic Fall Travel

Our Fall Travel students have successfully completed their first leg in the Nordics!! Led by faculty members Madison Cook and Edward Becker, a group of 19 fourth-year students explored significant architectural sites in Finland, Estonia, and Sweden. Along the way, they connected with local architects, curators, and even a few Virginia Tech alumni. As they traveled, the students developed their own research agendas and engaged in thoughtful creative practices. After a period of independent travel, they are now set to begin the second leg of their journey under the guidance of faculty members Kristin Washco and Clive Vorster.
