International Archive of Women in Architecture (IAWA)

The IAWA Student Club runs initiatives and events in support of the International Archive of Women in Architecture (AWA). Amongst the activities included, the Club supports the lAWA Center in its annual events and hosts information sessions for students, organizes tours of the archive, installs exhibits to showcase the work of women architects, supports broadcasting efforts of the materials in the archive, and assists in expanding the social network so that the IAWA can be known globally. This past week the IAWA Student Club hosted an exhibit of the work of Colombian women architects gathered through the IAWA's initiative 1x1Colombia, together with a sale of lAWA merchandise designed, and some handcrafted, by the club members. These events present an opportunity to engage informally in conversation and share with the school's community the wonders of the IAWA.
