First Year Foundation Labs Showcase

Last weekend, our first-year foundation labs came together for an exhibition showcasing the journey of students in their first month at the School of Architecture.

The exhibition featured an array of work reflecting the students' initial encounters with the basic principles of design. Parents were treated to a collection of work exhibiting the students' budding understanding of architecture through studies of material and spatial relationships.

The exhibition included intricate digital and physical collages, sketches, and models, all demonstrating the students' ability to blend technology with traditional techniques. A range of unique perspectives and representation explored structure and form. The work offered a glimpse into the core concepts of architecture that will serve as the foundation of their education as they continue to develop as architects.
