Recently, the Virginia Tech School of Architecture hosted an alumni reception in Chicago, hosted by Chip von Weise of von Weise Associates.

What made this event especially meaningful was that von Weise Associates also hosts the school's Chicago Studio program for fourth-year students, bringing together early career alumni, senior leaders, and current students in one shared community. The reception coincided with the Chicago Architecture Biennial, where our students and faculty were actively participating in exhibitions and events.
