Last April, the lobby was filled with ceramics artifacts from Ellen Braaten and her current and past students. Featuring various items from plates to bowls to vases, the work encompasses the results of a wide variety of pottery techniques.

As a ceramics specialist, Ellen has been an instrumental and iconic figure in the school, leading ceramics classes over the span of five decades. This will be her last semester of offering courses, but her presence will still be felt through the hundreds of current and past students she has taught and inspired.
