Role Overview
As an intern associate, you will support the project team by assisting with and contributing to active design projects. The ideal candidate will be passionate and curious about architecture, someone who displays a positive attitude and is unafraid to ask questions. This role is an opportunity to show talent and initiative; you will work cooperatively with a professional team to complete project deliverables. Key Job Functions:
● Participate in all architecture design phases
● Assist with distribution of files, prints, etc.
● Research materials and colors, prepare color boards and presentation materials.
● Organize and maintain product data and material samples.
● Consistently re-examine work as completed to verify proper execution; yellow out redlines as work progresses.
● Edit and revise drawings.
● Participate in and support field observation, measurement and photographic surveys as requested.
● Apply standards and quality control measures.
● Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
● Enrolled as a third-year student at Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture
● Accurate and detail oriented
● Ability to research and learn various codes and ordinances
● Baseline proficiency using the following software: Revit (required), AutoCAD (preferred), SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and MS Office
