Hanbury

For the second year in a row, Hanbury proudly joins Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture for the '24 W_Internship Program, offering third-year undergraduate and second-year graduate students a unique two-week immersive experience in our offices. This full-time paid internship provides a comprehensive snapshot of life at Hanbury, giving students the opportunity to engage with our team on live projects, participate in site visits, and attend client meetings. This intensive program spans everything from design critiques and research to lectures and professional mentorship.

Bringing together designers, thought-leaders, and strategists, Hanbury is driven by a collaborative and solution-driven approach to architecture, planning, and interiors. Since 1979, we have cultivated a legacy of thoughtfully shaping campus, community, and life science environments—exploring beyond convention to create spaces where thoughtful, honest design meets the places we care about. We believe that our clients, our cities, and our neighbors deserve aspirational projects that are rooted in place and endure accordingly.
