The American Institute of Architects and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture will soon be presenting the winner for the 2021 Topaz Medallion for Excellence in Architectural Education. Marking its 45th year recognizing the achievements of the top educators in the field of architecture, the AIA & ACSA have selected Donna Dunay to chair the jury of this year's esteemed prize. Consisting of a five-member committee comprised of two people from the ACSA, two people from the AIA and a student representative from AIAS, the Topaz Medallion represents the highest national recognition for an educator in the field of architecture and is the top award the AIA and ACSA offer to recognize an educator, honoring their commitment and service to the profession, academy and society.
