Mehdi Setareh has been a faculty member at the School of Architecture since 1997. He is a licensed structural engineer. He is the author of several books and over 100 peer-reviewed publications. He has been the principal investigator of several National Science Foundation funded projects totaling $2.0 M. He is the founder and director of the Virginia Tech Vibration Testing Laboratory.
