Emily Hagen

Emily is the principal/owner of Studio Hagen - a small architecture firm based in Seattle that specializes in designing place-based spaces. She graduated with her BARCH at Virginia Tech in 2014 and has since had experiences working in architecture firms of various sizes, volunteering within AIA Seattle, writing exam questions for the NCARB AREs, and has lectured nationally and internationally on innovative building technologies including advancements to the world of mass timber. When it’s not raining outside, Emily carves spoons from sticks that she collects on hikes.
