Novaform delivers both standardized and custom acoustical solutions to a nationwide commercial interiors market. As a member of the Novaform design team, the CAD designer will be instrumental in bringing to life unique, creative product offerings. The candidate will create detailed 2D and 3D designs with AutoCAD software; produce submission, production, and installation drawings; work with the design lead and outside architects/customers to develop original designs; and assist with developing standardized product offerings and images for marketing materials.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with architectural elevations and plans
  • Ability to explain potentially complicated product assembly and installation instructions in a visual medium
  • Ability to hand-sketch ideas on the fly
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, particularly 3D AutoCAD
  • Proficiency with Photoshop and MS Excel
  • Experience with Illustrator and InDesign are a plus
